AREA OF ACTIVITY
The LIT focuses on areas located in the Amazon-Cerrado ecotone close to the headwaters of the Xingu and Tapajós river basins.
In addition to sampling at the Rio Ronuro Ecological Station, Rio Juruena, Cristalino State Park and at collection sites in the modules of the Biodiversity Research Program (PPBio).
The PPBio modules are managed by the Sinop Regional Center by researchers from the Center for Biodiversity Studies in the Mato Grosso Amazon (NEBAM).
