The Tropical Ichthyology Laboratory (LIT) is located at the Institute of Natural, Human and Social Sciences (ICNHS) of the Sinop University Campus, since May 2019.
The collection brings together more than 20 thousand specimens of 360 species of freshwater fish, mainly from the Teles Pires, Juruena and Xingu rivers.
